Creditors
What are creditors?
Creditors are persons or companies to whom a company owes money for goods or services delivered, but for which payment has not yet been made. In other words, they are suppliers or other parties with whom a company has entered into a payment obligation. Creditors are an important part of a company’s accounts and are usually recorded in accounts payable. Managing accounts payable includes monitoring outstanding invoices and scheduling payments to ensure that the company makes timely and correct payments. Managing accounts payable can help ensure healthy cash flow and good relations with suppliers.
