Fraud
What is fraud?
Fraud is the deliberate deceiving or misleading of someone to obtain a financial or personal advantage. For example, it may involve falsifying documents, manipulating financial records, stealing money or property, or taking out false loans or insurance. Fraud can have both criminal and civil consequences and can lead to fines, imprisonment, or damages. Fraud can affect both individuals and companies and can cause significant financial and reputational damage. This is why fraud prevention is important.
